Sunrise Again

Created a new sunrise painting based on the same one I tried a year ago. I still have much to improve, but am thoroughly enjoying the journey!

Brother and Sister Beach Portraits

My friend wanted to capture her children's poses on the beach when each were the same age. Now Karlie is 13 and Nathan is 5. These portraits are currently being matted and framed. I can't wait to see how they look on their family's wall!

Mineola League of the Arts - Annual Juried Art Show - 2014

I am thrilled and honored to have been awarded Best Of Show in my division for my still life "Reflection of an Orange", as well as First Place in my category for my tractor pastel at the Mineola League of the Arts Annual Juried Art Show this past week!

And as if that weren't enough, I also came home with the People's Choice Award for my still life pastel! It was chosen out of all exhibition entries throughout the duration of the show via secret ballot by the public and fellow competitors. Best first art show ever!
